Don’t Blame NLD

_ by a sufferer in Burma

_ translated by Nay Yu

I will simply explain to the quasi-experienced scholarly activists of the so-called third-group who say “This is  right, this is wrong and you need to make changes” to the people suffering inside, while at the same time, mating with the regime; and also to the guys touching with bits of comments to other’s works and the guys claiming that these are their ideas, their works and their approaches adopting someone’s ideas.

There are NLD members in exile who are as smart as you. There are ex-student activists who were at the forefront during 8888 uprising, the current students inside Burma and abroad, medical doctors, engineers, retired-directors, academic staffs, private tuition-teachers, retired-military officials, traders, agents and their educated generations, gangsters and returned-prisoners from Coco Island (notorious prison for life-sentenced political prisoners) in the NLD. Even madams from brothels and side-car drivers are in the NLD. The organisation with people from all walks of life such as these people is called NLD. I’m sick of listening to the critics on NLD as you hate the MPs and NLD members in exile whom you know. The NLD members inside the country are the most suffering among all activists. They are the same ones whenever at front and get beaten. In fact, you have to help us when we need help.  Daw Aung San Suu Kyi  is leading the campaign as a perfect leader. You guys want to be smarter! You are just pseudo-leaders who can’t even follow the party’s rules. There are very few peoples like you in the party. There are second-level leaders who are allegedly not determined in the party. I think you, pseudo-leaders without grassroots, are maniacs. But, we are ready if you are cooperating with us honestly. We will be there to negotiate if you guys have internal conflicts and invite us honestly.

I will help you if you need to punish them by beating or anyway.

It is so noisy that whatever you are shouting with the proletariat around you. If you want to talk about politics, try to politicise the grassroots first. A guy wrote in Burma Today and he’s a phoney government staff. He’s like an onlooker outside the battle between the regime and the people. “He is in the middle and philosopher and upgrading morale and morality”. He doesn’t even know his position and where he is or which side he should support. It is cannibalism if you presume the NLD organised with people under the boots as a political class. You should not be paid for slavering for the regime. It is not that bad about your other ideas. I also know the guys playing with the military, people and the NLD for their self-interests. These kinds of people are even in the NLD. When we talk about politics some day, the regime will not look at back to the flatterers and needless to say about the NLD’s view.

They understand very well why the UNSC put Burma issue in the agenda. No need to explain. Even the NLD members_ even if they are prostitutes and side-car drivers_ can feel more than you and the way they understand is better than you with a big mouth. You don’t have knowledge, status and background to explain what you understand. Then you say people has to stand up and what. You don’t need to say anything. Everything will be alright when the time is up. Keep your mouth shut and stay cool. If you think I am swearing, you deserve it!
