A historic day of 87 September...A beautiful day It was near (R.I.T.) final exam... A group of R.I.T's students Near the bus stop
They came out on the Road (Insein-DaNyinGone
Road) They shouted slogans against (B.S.P.P.) They united in the sunshine... They stood up in the campus (R.I.T.compound) They felt the people's tears They burst out the feelings Students from hostels.....( Block A.B.C.D.E...etc. ) They stood up ...... They took part ..... They strike against The Dictatorship Goverment (B.S.P.P.) .... They had no more fears They had no more tears It was amazing time............ Shouting and Shouting......... It sound like '' Than-gyat in water festival '' Students united under the blue sky It's a call for Democracy Revolution They broke out....... Against the (B.S.P.P.) They stood up........ For the people's sake They showed up........ Sprits of freedom All ethnic students united for freedom movements They started a revolution to Democracy way And then....... DEMOCRACY Mass movements brought down.... A dictatorship Government......to fall down Ko Ko Latt (Mike)
Notes:_ ¨ R.I.T. = Rangoon Institute of Technology, Gyoke kone ( Near B.P.I.), Rangon, Burma. ¨ B.S.P.P. = Burmese Socialist Programme Party (The Ditatorship Goverment which fell down after 1988's Student uprising .1962-1988 ) ¨ ''Than-gyat '' .... it is traditional Burmese-named which it is people used to shout in Water Festival ( Burmese Traditional Style ) in April, every year.
