King Than Shwe’s Naypyidaw

The billions of dollars that Burma does not have is going into the building of this capital city with open spaces, air conditioning and un-ending electricity. The mass of power-lines coming in through Pyinmana from the southwest, yet ordinary people in Pyinmanar receive little or nothing of this commodity. All the improvements go to support the Than Shwe and his military governance.
As this is not enough, his personal home built by the mountain side, is estimated to be about 1,954 square meters. The walled compound as well is measure around 350 meters across. This includes an Olympic sized swimming pool.
Coincidently, this residence sits parallel to the golf course by the new lake that once was farmer's fields.
