Quote: _ “It should not be done in the way of working together in same things and working separately in different things. It must be done by balancing the indifferences.”

Q: What do you think of the stance of the coalition (NCUB) at the status quo of Burma?

Ans: First of all, I’d like to say that the coalition (NCUB) is a very influential coalition. The formation of NCUB is different from other coalitions because it is based on the organisations from different backgrounds. In other words, it is organised by the four pillars of NDF, DAB, MPU and NLD-LA towards the broader implementation and it is the excellence formation of NCUB. I think that the NCUB is the organisation we will need in the future as it includes the non-violent movements and the participation of armed-groups as well. I can say that we achieved the significant successes along the history of its measures. It is the coalition carrying on the campaigns inside the country and outside the country. What I mean is: all sectors inside the country are working accordingly while the coalition taking care its responsibilities. It is same for the foreign department. It is improving because of the cycle of respective initiatives from each angles and as a whole. However, because of the enemy and working in the borders, because we have separate responsibilities of own organisations and coalitional measures, we can’t carry on some parts of the campaigns and we can’t do as much as we want. Nonetheless, we will be fighting. We will carry on campaigns. I believe we will concentrate to take actions inside the country.

Q: NCUB has the resolution to carry on the People Power Movement in the last 8th Conference. How much crucial of the PPM?

Ans: PPM is very critical because the people are the basic force. Briefly, I wish to say that the change can be brought into the country when the mass participation occurs. The existence of our actions depends on the people. If there is nobody to look after, we don’t need to do anything. The people are very important regarding the international pressure. The more the people carry on actions, the more pressure from international community against the regime. It is quite important to concentrate on the local tasks to work in broader sense. I don’t need to talk more details this time.
