Protest in London on Junta's Genocide

There was a demonstration in front of Burmese military regime's embassy by human rights activists in London, on the Global Day of Action to STOP ATROCITIES in Burma (16.05.2006).

It was organized by Burma Campaign, Christian Solidarities Worldwide and ethnic communities in UK, and attended by about a hundred activists, including ethnic nationalities, Burmese people and a lot of international friends.

Ruth Rogers, one of the most gifted young musicians in Britain (Musical Opinion), played violin and participated in demonstrations.

A "STOP ATROCITIES" request, organized by BURMA DIGEST and signed by Karen, Kachin, Chin, Arakan, Shan, Rohinger communities and distinguished Burmese democrats around the world, was delivered to regime's embassy after the event.

Dear Anna, Khin Saw, and Feraya, this is such excellent coverage!  If it will not endanger the people, it would be nice to have short captions. Also, if the Kbytes are not too much, maybe a URL for some of the slogans that were shouted out.
Looking through the pictures, I can almost feel like I was there.  Which one are you, Feraya, Anna, and Khin Saw? If you prefer to remain incognito, I understand how you feel.
I used to be very underground until my Professor in University of Davis told me, if this MI of Burma is as powerful as you say they are, then, they will find out who you are. And, if they then kill you, you will have died as an unknown  person with a pseudonym.  Make yourself public so that if you are killed, then your comrades can make something out of it.
Anyway,
Congratulations on a great demonstration and may there be many more!
