Prisoner's Poem
(For All Burmese Political Prisoners)

IN THE DARKNESS...
.
In the darkness ....I saw an angel......
I cry for my pain...nobody feel like me
I shout for my suffering...nobody hears my stunning screams
I crawl like an ill-dog... they are laughing at me
I beg for mercy...they are ignoring me
I fall down as a puppet...They kick my head as a football
When red-blood comes out...from my mouth
They are like genuine artists
I have to fly as a plane
But, on my one leg....
I walk on sharp stones
But, without my shoes
I sit down like a bike-riding
But, without a chair
I dance as a disco dancer
But, electric shocks in my hand

What is your diginity......
What is your status.........
What is your position.....
What is your educational knowledge......
What is your belief..........
What do your own..........
Why do you have to suffer this kind of tortures.....?
Why do you have to feel this kind of ill-treatments....?
Why don't you have your human rights.....?
When I'm laughing for my pain.....................
When I'm feeling for my pain as a message......
When I'm listening to the songs in the dream....
When I'm seeing a cosmic ray of light...........
In the darkness....I saw an angel...........
Mike

Dear Mike, thank you for your beautiful sad poem. Let us pray hard for all our political prisoners in Burma, and do our best to have them released as soon as possible.
