I can't speak up
Though I can
I can't listen
Though I can
I was born to speak
And listen to speech
Though are my words
Uttering in my heart
Though I heard
No words from thy heart
Have been silenced
And lived in the darkness
Waiting for the remedy
Somebody who can cure me?
As am I poor
And can I pay nothing
Suffering the chronic illness
And travelling a long journey
Though I found the indigenous remedy
Mixed and made by myself
Namely, K3C and BMAS *
As the healer is myself
NAY YU
* (K3C = Karen, Kaya, Karen and Chin;
BMAS = Burman, Mon, Arakanese and Shan)
