Burma Human Rights Day Actions in Dehli

Pro-democracy activists from Burma, led by SYCB (students & youths congress of Burma) staged demonstration in Dehli on Burma's Human Rights Day (13.03.2007) to protest against the illegitimate military regime in Burma.

March 13_ exactly 18 years ago on this date pro-democracy student leader Ko Phone Maw was killed by police brutality in Burma_ has been celebrated as Burma Human Rights Day every year.

Dear Mr. Thangjalun, I read your article about the abduction of the 400 Kukis that you placed in the D4B and was inspired by you to write about them as additional Phone Maws because of the date on which the attack occurred, 13 March as you can see in my article elsewhere in this issue of BD. Thank you for your coverage of the demonstrations in Delhi.
May the suffering of the 400 Kukis not be in vain, but inspire more demonstrations ---- to change and overturn the Indian govt's inhuman policies, as well as lead to the Final Ultimate Revolution in Burma.
