62nd Anniversary Fascist Revolution Day in New York

_ reported by Moe Chan

Burma Point in New York, USA, are honoring those who revolted against the oppressors throughout Burma history on 62nd Anniversary of Burma's Fascist Revolution Day.

As they honor everyone who fought for the country’s independence and continued to fight for its freedom, they especially presented “People’s Soldier Award” to Former Captain Sai Win Kyaw.

Capt. Sai Win Kyaw entered into Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s residence on University Ave., Rangoon in his full military uniform during 1988 uprising. He then showed his support to her by laying down his arms and uniforms. While risking his life, he proved that he stood by the people of Burma and its leader.

Burma Point honored him by giving him the award.

Hi Comrades, thanks for the picture and the award giving information for former Capt. Sai Win Kyaw.
With due respect and admiration for his courage and charisma in doing the right thing in 1988, openly supporting the true leader of modern day Burma, I take off my hat to former Capt. Sai Win Kyaw.
We need this ilk of people in our midst fighting against military rule in Burma.
And we need him specifically to initiate and lead us in our struggle against the military dictators in Burma.
Why is he lying low until to this day?
I've never seen or heard of him all those past years doing everything in my power to dislodge military rule in Burma.
Thanks again comrades for this valuable information about this valiant ex-armed forces man who has the 'guts' to show his 'ilk' and courage to do the right thing at the right moment.
As far as I am concerned he has earned my respect and gratitude and a place in the annals of our country's history, turst me.
Dear Comrade Sai Win Kyaw, you can do a lot in toppling the present ruling military regime in Burma.
Why don't you start doing something in that respect NOW?
Just let me know what's in your mind and I am ready to follow you.
