62nd Anniversary Fascist Revolution Day in New York
_ reported by Moe Chan Burma Point in New York, USA, are honoring those who revolted against the oppressors throughout Burma history on 62nd Anniversary of Burma's Fascist Revolution Day.
As they honor everyone who fought for the country’s independence and continued to fight for its freedom, they especially presented “People’s Soldier Award” to Former Captain Sai Win Kyaw.
Capt. Sai Win Kyaw entered into Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s residence on University Ave., Rangoon in his full military uniform during 1988 uprising. He then showed his support to her by laying down his arms and uniforms. While risking his life, he proved that he stood by the people of Burma and its leader.
Burma Point honored him by giving him the award.
