Protest in Paris Against SHWE Gas Project in Burma

A demonstration was staged in front of the Embassy of South Korea in Paris, France by the French NGOs and Burmese activists living in France on 26.03.2007 to protest the "Shwe Gas" project in Arakan (Rakhine) State.
A protest-letter was handed to the authority of Korean Embassy and explained all the consequences to the local people and environment that might follow the Shwe Gas project in Rakhine state. The Korean authority promised to take the issue to the higher authority.
Then the pamphlets were distributed to the public, journalists and tourists.
