Third Time Peace Walk

Pro-democracy activists are preparing to make a peace walk for Burma for the third time; and every interested person is welcome to participate.

On August 2006 the first peace march group in Germany walked 1006km by using the name of walking for the peace of the world and Burma from Cologne to Berlin. It took 29 days. The motto is.. Peace inside is peace outside! More info www.frieden-lauf.de

| On January-February 2007 the second peace march group walked in Thailand from Bangkok to Mae Sot around 800km.The last days mostly were arrested forcefully by Thai Army which followed the pressure of Burmese Army. We wanted to celebrate 45 years of military regime in Burma but we got promise of Thai Authorities to come again if civil government elected then they will cooperate with us. The motto…Breaking the wall! |  |

End, 19-06-2007 Tuesday 11 AM, by meditating and praying for the world peace in front of Burmese Embassy and White House in Washington DC.
