Burma Office Meeting in London _ reported by Dr. Win Naing Representatives of pro-democracy organizations in UK, such as N.L.D,L.A, U.K branch, B.D.M.A, U.K, Women Of Burma ( U.K ), Burmese Muslim Association , Rohangya Organisation, and visiting leaders from NCUB met last week to discuss the strategies of Burma Office in Europe. The N.C.U.B General Secretary U Maung Maung, and F.T.U.B. representative Saw Ywa Hay explained their experience at the recent I.L.O, conference. They explained about their plan to put the notorious regime to the I.C.J, International Court Of Justice, which cannot be vetoed by any countries, and they have evidence of 3000 cases of forced labour already presented to the I.L.O; the regime will be questioned about those cases by the authorities from ILO. And also advised the Burmese people who are currently abroad should write to ILO to take action on the regime. The current social and political situation at the Thai-Burmese border was also discussed. The strategic plans to be carried out by the Burma Office were also discussed.
