Daw Suu Birthday Celebrations in Japan

On the auspicious 62nd birthday of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi (19.06.2007), pro-democracy activists in Japan celebrated her birthday to express their solidarity with her and the entire people of Burma, and feeling proud for her on her relentless struggle for the oppressed people of Burma and her undaunted spirit. Buddhist prayers were also said for her health, peace and freedom. They also staged demonstrations to demand for freedom of Daw Suu and all political prisoners in Burma.
